Before you call

Make the first conversation useful.

  • Keep notes on chlorine, sludge depth, mechanical checks, and spray-head function.
  • Ask a service company what each scheduled visit includes.
  • Inside Edmond city limits, confirm the separate local yearly requirement.

The two-year rule: For a newly installed aerobic system, OAC 252:641-10-3 assigns the first two years of maintenance to the installer at no additional cost to the owner. After that, the owner maintains it or hires someone.
